    Whisky is most commonly made from barley malt, corn, rye or wheat, although we've seen examples of buckwheat, rice or even oat whisky! We will explore the main types of whisky produced in Scotland: malt whisky, grain whisky and anything in between.

    Whisky can be transferred from the primary cask (most often - bourbon barrel) to another cask for extra maturation and extra flavours. Some exotic casks could be used to finish whisky, for example: beer, wine, sherry, port, rum. We'll explore some of these finishes.
